- Contains 2 current-limited resistors that provide current to the thermostat, through the existing W (heat) or Y (cool) circuits without drawing any current from the furnace control.
- Use with any HAI Omni or Lumina family home control system.
- Includes power booster for RC-80B and RC-80BZ Omnistat thermostats with instructions.
The Thermostat Power Supply Module (TPSM) is used with RC-80B Series Thermostats in retrofit situations when the furnace control does not provide enough current to operate the thermostat, as evidenced by a thermostat reset when it calls for heating or cooling (when an RC-80B Thermostat resets, the display shows all segments for a few seconds, and then the power-on delay timer is reset). Also, when the fifth wire (common) is not available at the thermostat location.
